HOW WOULD I DESCRIBE MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?
As a wedding photographer, there are trends that appear in how an image is edited which often is confused for a photographer’s “style.” I believe a photographer’s style is defined by where her heart lies before she even begins shooting. When I photograph your story, I feel extremely honored to be blessed with this opportunity. I want to photograph images for you that will stand the test of time. Ones that you’ll adore in 30 years just as much as the first day you received them from me. I believe at the core of my being that every person is beautiful and has a story to tell. I start there. Add some dangly earrings, some fashionable heels and a really great laugh, and you’re already on your way to getting to know me well.
IS THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION INCLUDED WHEN I INVEST IN WEDDING DAY CONVERAGE?
Yes! Feel free to contact me to receive more detailed information!
WHEN & WHERE SHOULD WE SHOOT?
Early morning or early evening, when the light is soft and attractive, is when we’ll shoot. When it comes to choosing a location for your engagement shoot, the more unique the better. Is there a certain place you like to escape to or somewhere that holds special memories? First date, spot you got engaged, favorite hangout … unexpected places lend more inspiration to the shoot, whether it’s at the beach, in an overgrown field, or a city setting.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Color! Go ahead and coordinate your colors and patterns. I want your photos to stand out from the rest. Resist being matchy matchy! Go for an outfit that is more complementary. Textures are great and details too! For example: favorite hat, cool watch, pretty scarf, whatever makes you, you. Feel free to bring along one outfit change. And remember, you want to feel comfortable and confident in whatever you choose.
DO YOU SHOOT OUTSIDE OF NEW ENGLAND?
I LOVE to travel so yes, absolutely. Please inquire for a detailed quote that will include reasonable travel fees.
CANON OR NIKON?
Canon! I started with a Canon Rebel my first year of graduate school. I have never wanted to switch. I love my Canon Mark II. I would recommend it to anyone.
